Redemption Roasters
London

Sales and Account Manager

Reports To: Head of Sales
Hours: 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Location: Redemption Roasters Headquarters, London

About Us

At Redemption Roasters, we do things differently. We are not just about great coffee – we are about second chances. As the world’s first prison-based coffee company, we believe coffee can be a force for good. We roast top-tier specialty coffee while training prison residents in barista and roasting skills to create real change.

Now, we are looking for an energetic, coffee-loving Sales and Account Manager to help grow our community of partners who share our passion for quality and impact.

Sales & Growth

  • Close Deals: Handle inbound enquiries and guide new clients through the sales journey—from first contact to setting up accounts.
  • Generate Leads: Proactively reach out to new prospects through cold calling, outreach, and networking.
  • Drive Strategy: Contribute to shaping and implementing the department’s growth strategy with insight and creativity.
  • Understand the Market: Keep up with specialty coffee trends to inform your approach and bring value to every client conversation.

Account Management

  • Be the Face of Redemption: Build strong, long-term relationships with wholesale clients, ensuring they receive top-tier support and outstanding coffee.
  • Deliver Support & Training: Share your expertise through on-site visits, offering barista training, technical guidance, and operational advice.
  • Create Memorable Experiences: Run cuppings, tastings, and engaging training sessions that deepen client engagement with our beans and brand.
  • Problem Solve Like a Pro: Support equipment installations and resolve technical issues with professionalism and confidence.
  • Stay Organised: Keep track of client activity, site visits, and insights using Copper CRM.
  • Represent Us Externally: Attend tastings, industry events, and client meetings to spread the word about our mission and values.
  • Be a Team Player: Lend a hand with roastery operations, production support, and occasional travel across the UK and abroad.

What We’re Looking For

We’re after someone who’s excited about specialty coffee, thrives on human connection, and is motivated by both craft and commercial success.

You’ll need:

  • Sales Confidence: Comfortable pitching, negotiating, and closing deals with a variety of customer types.
  • People Skills: An excellent communicator who builds rapport with everyone from baristas to executives.
  • Experience: At least 2 years in sales, account management, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Coffee Knowledge: Solid understanding of specialty coffee—from espresso extraction to cupping protocols.
  • Technical Know-How: Familiar with grinder calibration, burr replacements, water filters, and more.
  • Driving Licence: A full UK licence, enabling regular travel to client sites.
  • Organisation: Reliable and structured with excellent time and CRM management.
  • Self-Motivation: You take initiative, stay energetic, and love being out in the field.
  • Professionalism: Always presentable and a strong ambassador for Redemption Roasters.
  • Commercial Acumen: You understand what makes a coffee programme successful—both in the cup and on the balance sheet.

If this sounds like the role for you, we would love to hear from you!

As a member of the Redemption Roasters team, you’ll receive:

  • Free coffee and tea at all our shops
  • 50% off food and 30% off retail coffee at all our shops
  • Generous incremental annual leave allowance based on service length
  • Option to purchase up to 3 additional annual leave days per year
  • 10% off on all shops in Coal Drops Yard
  • 1x Christmas and 1x Summer party
  • 3 professional development days allowance per year
  • Phone and laptop if applicable
  • Passionate working environment and culture
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Access to high street discounts available through BHN Extras
  • Up to £400 referral bonus

Equality and Diversity Statement

Redemption Roasters is an international and multicultural business with customers, suppliers, and employees from across the globe. Fostering diversity in the workplace is both right and good for business. Gender, belief, ethnicity, origins, disability, sexual orientation, marital status, age or history of incarceration doesn’t matter. If you perform, you’ll fit in, whoever you are.

We welcome applications from people with backgrounds traditionally underrepresented in the specialty coffee industry.
