The Role
Are you passionate about Corporate Tax and eager to dive into a dynamic role that offers growth and learning opportunities? Join us as a Business Tax Associate Manager/Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our clients' financial endeavours. Your responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of complex Corporate Tax returns: You will be responsible for preparing and overseeing the preparation of complex Business Tax returns. This will require a strong understanding of tax legislation and regulations, as well as a thorough knowledge of the tax implications of business transactions.
You will be expected to review the Business Tax returns prepared by junior team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax legislation and regulations.
Assisting with business tax development (writing articles, handling sales calls, working with the in-house marketing and sales teams)
Involvement in tax advisory projects: You will be involved in tax advisory projects, providing expert advice to clients on a range of tax matters.
Providing in-house training on Tax matters: As part of your role, you will be expected to provide in-house training on Tax matters, to ensure that all members of the team are up-to-date with changes to tax legislation and regulations.
Managing junior team members: There will be a responsibility for managing and mentoring junior team members, providing guidance and support as required to ensure their ongoing professional development.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
Your foundation in Business Tax, within an Accountancy Practice, positions you for this impactful role. You:
Are CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
Have outstanding communication and influencing skills
Are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders at all levels
Have excellent project management skills and be able to ensure that multiple projects are successfully delivered
Are able to build excellent relationships with people, often resulting in engaged teams and additional client work
Value feedback and enjoy creating an environment where people are always learning and improving

Our standard working week is a 37.5-hour week on a hybrid basis
Core working hours are 10am - 4pm Monday to Friday
