About the School
A highly regarded and busy school in Croydon is seeking an experienced School Administrator to join its established office team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and professional administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced educational environment. The successful candidate will become an important part of the school’s daily administrative operation.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the day-to-day running of the school office.
Maintaining accurate pupil and staff records.
Updating school management systems.
Supporting attendance administration.
Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries.
Welcoming parents, visitors and external professionals.
Preparing letters, reports and correspondence.
Organising meetings and appointments.
Supporting staff with general administration.
Maintaining confidential records.
Assisting with school events and activities.
Ensuring administrative deadlines are met.
Requirements
Previous experience working within a school office is essential.
Experience using SIMS, Arbor or a similar school management system.
Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Professional and approachable manner.
Ability to manage competing priorities.
Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
