National Events and Venue Hire Delivery Coordinator

English Heritage
London

Heritage is for everybody, and we are here for heritage.

Heritage lives in places and people, memories and stories, artefacts and traditions. It can connect us all to the past, and to each other. It can make us happier, strengthen every community, and help shape society for the better. Everybody should be able to enjoy the benefits it brings.

That's why, as a charity, we care for over a million objects and hundreds of historic sites in every part of England, from international icons to local treasures. And it's why we open them up, share their stories and find new ways for everybody to enjoy, learn, play and create.

We are looking for a minimum of 2 National Events & Venue Hire Coordinators to join our Events & Venue Hire Delivery Team. The roles are full time and fixed term basis until January 2027. Based in either one of regional offices, hybrid or homework, you will be working within a national team and required to travel throughout the country.

The Benefits

- Salary from £26,409 p.a., depending on skills, experience and location

- 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, pro rata, rising to 28 days after 3 years

- Matched pension contributions up to 10%

- Flexible hours

- The opportunity to progress your career within the heritage sector

- Apprenticeship opportunities

- Subscriptions to professional bodies

- Free access to all English Heritage sites for you and up to six friends and family members

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact, supporting and delivering exceptional events and venue hires across English Heritage's unique and inspiring locations.

As National Events & Venue Hire Delivery Coordinator, you will ensure high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Whether taking the lead on delivery or supporting our site teams, you will be a vital link between our operational teams, central colleagues, and external stakeholders ensuring seamless planning and execution of events and hires.

During events and hires you will be the on-site point of contact ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer experiences. This means you will be someone who is comfortable with health and safety legislation and licensing requirements, ensuring our events and hires comply within those as well as our own policies.

Working in collaboration with the National Events and Venue Hire Delivery Team, the Visitor Experience Creative Producer and Programmer, and the Venue Hire Sales Team, you will contribute and identify opportunities to enhance the events and venue hire programme

To be considered as a National Events & Venue Hire Delivery Coordinator, you'll need:
