We’re currently seeking a professional to join our team in the role of Associate, EMEA sector team and strategic corporate finance. You would be supporting all sector teams, with a focus on consumer, healthcare and retail (CHR) clients..
You would support the execution and origination activities of our EMEA capital markets and dvisory team offering advisory across European capital financing and Middle East capital financing, mergers and acquisition (M&A) and equity capital markets (ECM). The role will involve assisting with complex financial transaction execution, deal origination and interacting with senior bankers and clients in a face-to-face capacity

In this role you will:
- Build and assess complex financial models, to perform valuation and financing analysis
- Prepare transaction materials and coordinate with internal teams (product, risk, legal, compliance)
- Be involved in deal origination and client engagement through conducting industry research and prepare and deliver client pitches and presentations
- Analyse industry and company dynamics, financial statements, business plans and valuation to support the approval and credit decision making processes
- Have opportunities to work across multiple sectors and geographies
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Proven experience working in investment banking, capital market or other corporate finance related areas
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with experience in financial data modelling and valuation, including an understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and problem solving abilities
- Good communication skills. Able to work with a variety of information to produce easily digestible reports and presentations
- Possess good stakeholder management capabilities and be confident in engaging with internal and external peers, as well as senior leaders
