Role Description:

The Engagement Lead will be accountable for end-to-end delivery of the Architecture as Code platform, acting as the primary interface between ClearRoute and our clients’ architecture, security, and engineering stakeholders. Combines hands-on architecture design with governance content authoring and delivery management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the delivery plan, risk register, and stakeholder reporting; facilitate sprint ceremonies and monthly governance forums

• Design the platform's overall architecture (repository structure, pipeline orchestration, drift detection model, conversational agent integration) and make key technical decisions

• Author and curate architecture standards, patterns, and governance documentation in collaboration with our clients’ architecture team

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven solutions architecture experience across Azure (Entra ID, Azure OpenAI, Functions, AI Search, networking)

• Strong written communication and ability to produce clear, structured technical documentation (standards, ADRs, RFCs)

• Delivery leadership in enterprise environments with experience managing dependencies across security, cloud operations, and architecture governance teams

Desirable Experience:

• Experience with Architecture as Code, C4 modelling, or documentation-as-code approaches

• Familiarity with UK public sector or regulated industry procurement frameworks

• Prior engagement lead or technical authority role on a 3-6 month consultancy delivery
