Acoustic Consultant Location: Croydon | Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 + Benefits An independent, employee-owned acoustic consultancy is looking to appoint an Acoustic Consultant to support the continued growth of its London-based team. The Role As an Acoustic Consultant, you will work on a diverse range of projects—contributing to assessments, modelling, and client engagement. The role will include: Supporting and delivering environmental and/or building acoustics projects Carrying out site visits and baseline noise/vibration surveys Using modelling software (e.g., CadnaA, SoundPLAN) to analyse and visualise data Preparing high-quality technical reports Liaising with clients, local authorities, and internal teams Contributing to a culture of learning, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing About You We’re looking for a proactive and committed acoustics professional who: Has around 2–5 years’ experience in acoustic consultancy Holds a degree in Acoustics or a related discipline (e.g., Physics, Environmental Science) Is comfortable working independently and as part of a team Holds or is working towards IOA membership Has a full UK driving licence What’s on Offer Competitive salary dependent on experience Profit share through employee ownership Flexible, hybrid working environment A flat-structured, collaborative team culture Generous training and development support Purpose-driven projects with real community and environmental impact This is an ideal next step for a consultant looking to build their career in a people-first consultancy that blends technical work with a genuine focus on sustainability and wellbeing.
