WHY YOU’RE HERE
As Jamie Oliver’s Catherine Street bartender you’ll be greeting guests with a big smile and an even bigger wealth of knowledge about the menu, the wine list, cocktails and the restaurant as a whole. You’ll relish the challenge of working quickly and efficiently under pressure while maintaining sky-high standards of presentation and fantastic attention to detail.
WHAT YOU’RE HERE TO DO
- Be proud of and keep your bar clean and sparkling.
- Serve guests their favourite drinks with a smile.
- Master the cocktail menu and mix drinks with delight.
- Manage all requests for drinks and work happily with the Front of House team.
- Maintain stock levels for the bar when on shift.
- Work closely with all other departments within the restaurant team
- Set up and close down the bar according to JOCS standards.
- You will understand the importance of, and pride yourself on, keeping the cellar clean and organised.
- Hear some amazing stories from our suppliers and relay their ethos and passion to our guests
- Work closely with the Bar Manager to ensure beverage stock is managed and accounted for
- Ensure your guests have an experience that exceeds their expectations.
- Maintain the required Health and Safety and Jamie’s standards.
- Work to the highest food Safety Standards
- Remain calm – our restaurants get busy.
Requirements:
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
You’re a passionate, hands-on individual with experience of working behind a bar. You thrive under pressure and have a real passion for exceptional bar service and standards. You are a team player who leads from the front and are a genuine brand ambassador for JOCS and all things Jamie Oliver.
You’ll be a great team player who really believes that the guest experience is not just something that happens at the table or the bar and that every member of the team is just as important as everyone else.
