Oakleaf is proud to be partnering a well-established international logistics service provider in their search for a new HR Business Partner.

The Role
As HR Business Partner (UK) , supporting the UK Air, Ocean and Freight Forwarding operations, you will be the primary HR contact for all employees and managers across several UK locations. While you will have HR responsibility for multiple sites in England and Scotland, your main focus will be on two core operational hubs where the majority of employees and activities are based. One of these locations will be your contractual place of work.
You will act as both a strategic and hands-on HR advisor, responsible for building a consistent HR framework aligned with Group standards while navigating the local UK context.
Working closely with the UK Managing Director, the Group CHRO (based in Europe), and senior leaders across the business, you will support organisational growth and transformation, bringing structure, professionalism and trust to all HR processes.
This role is ideal for a confident HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic partnering with operational delivery and is comfortable being the sole HR representative within a UK organisation.

What You Bring
- 5+ years' experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Advisor in a fast-paced environment, ideally in logistics or a similar industry
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
- Confidence to operate independently and advise senior stakeholders
- Ability to balance hands-on delivery with strategic thinking
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience in recruitment, employee relations and HR systems/processes
- Proactive, organised, solutions-focused and comfortable with change
