The AHP team at Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in serving a diverse London community. In this role, you will provide essential services to children aged 0-16 with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs. Your work will take you to child development centers, community clinics, and schools, where you will make a significant impact on the lives of young people and their families.
Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:
You will assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in children. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs. You will provide therapy sessions in various settings, including child development centres, community clinics, and schools. You will collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support the child’s development and progress. You will maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports. You will participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss and plan comprehensive care for children. You will mentor and supervise junior colleagues and students, providing guidance and support in their professional development. You will stay updated with the latest research and best practices in speech and language therapy.
What we are looking for in a Speech and Language Therapist:
- HCPC registration is essential.
- A recognized Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification or equivalent.
- Proven experience in early intervention and social communication .
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- A willingness to mentor and supervise junior colleagues and students .
