Year 6 Teacher — Independent School — Lambeth
A respected Independent School in Lambeth is recruiting a committed and inspiring Year 6 Teacher to lead an ambitious upper-KS2 cohort from January 2026. The successful Year 6 Teacher will attend planning sessions before January 2026, complete induction in January 2026, and begin teaching from January 2026 as the Year 6 Teacher. As an Independent School, the setting offers small class sizes, close pastoral support and tailored professional development for each Year 6 Teacher.

Year 6 Teacher Responsibilities
As Year 6 Teacher you will design rigorous, knowledge-rich sequences in maths and English and run targeted booster sessions as the Year 6 Teacher. The Year 6 Teacher will lead assessment cycles, coordinate transition with secondary schools and present curriculum outcomes as the Year 6 Teacher. The Year 6 Teacher will prepare materials prior to January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026.
Year 6 Teacher Requirements
We are looking for a Year 6 Teacher with QTS (or equivalent), strong Upper KS2 experience and proven ability to manage data informed interventions as the Year 6 Teacher. The Year 6 Teacher must be available for pre-term planning before January 2026, induction in January 2026, and to begin teaching in post from January 2026.
