Nanny

A warm family of four, soon to be five, living just off Abbeville Road, a short walk from Clapham Common. They have a 3.5 year old, a 1 year old and a new baby arriving in March 2027, plus a friendly dog. They’re looking for someone proactive and nurturing, with solid baby experience, who will thrive in a busy, growing household. Mum will be on maternity leave for a while before returning to work, so the nanny should be comfortable working alongside a parent at home. It’s a great chance to join a family at an exciting time and build a lasting relationship with all three children.

Duties
The nanny will be responsible for all aspects of the children’s day-to-day care, including planning age-appropriate activities, getting out and about locally (the Common is right on the doorstep), managing naps and routines, and supporting the children’s development through play. Once the baby arrives, they’ll help care for the newborn alongside mum, and will gradually take on more responsibility as mum prepares to return to work. The role also includes all standard nursery duties: preparing healthy meals for the children, keeping on top of their laundry, and keeping their spaces and belongings organised. The family would love someone who uses their initiative, thinks ahead and helps keep family life running smoothly.

* Salary: £43,472 – £45,760 gross per year / £19 – £20 gross per hour
* Pets: A friendly dog

Skills & requirements
* Experience: Solid nannying experience, including babies and newborns
* Languages: Fluent English
* Other must-haves: Comfortable with dogs, happy working alongside mum, excellent references, up-to-date DBS and First Aid (or willing to obtain)
