Afterschool Nanny in Hammersmith, Job ID J23063
A lovely family based in Hammersmith, London, is looking for looking for a warm, energetic, nurturing and academically oriented Afterschool Nanny to care for their cheerful and curious school-aged child. The child is always active, loves exploring and playing but also enjoys quieter creative activities. The family would love to find someone who can build a close, trusting relationship with the child and encourage his curiosity and confidence, and make learning enjoyable. He enjoys learning and we would particularly value someone who can encourage his interest in letters, numbers and early learning through playful, engaging activities.
A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.
Working hours:
Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Full days in school holiday 8:30 AM - 7:30 PM (11 weeks of the year)
Duties include:
- Childcare & School Runs: Collecting the child from school and accompanying him to after-school activities (currently gymnastics and football), playdates and outings.
- Activities & Development: Actively engaging the child in games, interactive play, and outdoor activities to minimise screen time; supporting educational growth, encouraging early literacy, and providing homework assistance.
- Routine & Well-being: Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the child's structure and development.
- Cooking & Nutrition: Heating up pre-prepared meals
- Housekeeping: Keeping the child's bedroom and play area clean, organised, and tidy.
The family is looking for someone who can start on 4 January 2027.
