London
Job Description

Division/Dept: Supply Chain

Location: Holborn, London

Reporting to: Design Team Lead

More About the team

Nestled in the heart of the Supply Chain division, the Design team is instrumental in shaping the future of Sainsbury's Group's digital products across Food, General Merchandise, and Clothing. We collaborate with a wide range of passionate professionals, from category managers and technology partners to third-party suppliers, to deliver innovative and efficient supply chain solutions. Our team thrives on a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and a shared commitment to putting the customer at the centre of everything we do.

More about the role

As a Design Support Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming business processes by creating detailed process maps and gathering business and user requirements that shape our digital product strategies. Your day-to-day will involve engaging with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating workshops, and using analytical tools to map out both current and future supply chain processes. You'll support the creation of system architectures and advise project teams, ensuring our digital solutions are robust, user-focused, and future-ready.

You will take ownership of maintaining and enhancing the documentation of all supply chain processes, ensuring every digital product meets the needs and expectations of our users. Expect to be involved in key transformation projects, championing a user-centred approach and driving adherence to best practices in digital design, accessibility, and security.

Your experience working in large, fast-moving organisations enables you to engage stakeholders, facilitate constructive dialogue, and drive consensus on process improvements. You demonstrate a keen attention to detail, combining analytical rigour with a creative approach to problem solving.

Your communication skills allow you to influence at all levels, and you actively seek opportunities to prototype and refine new ideas. You are recognised for your inclusive approach and your ability to foster a positive, collaborative culture that encourages learning and continuous development.

  • Experienced in creating detailed and consistent process maps that align with business and technical system flows
  • Skilled in gathering and translating business requirements into relevant technology solutions
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to guide design decisions across multiple teams and business functions
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a working knowledge of critical thinking frameworks such as MECE
