Location: Uxbridge, Sheffield, Manchester – 2 days a week in office.

The Project Manager resides within the Service Design & Delivery area of the EMEA Services Delivery function and specifically within the Project Management Office. Responsible for successfully delivering small to medium size projects and providing leadership to project teams. Manages scope, schedule, risks, issues, finances, resources, and governance reporting.
Working extremely closely with the VP of Sales Operations and Enablement to drive go to market transformation change at pace across a number of areas and throughout the EMEA region where Insight has presence.
The VP of Sales Operations and Enablement, has teammates report from a across a number of functions:
- Sales Operations
- Client Operations
- Data Analytics and compensation
- With close (not direct reporting line) into HR, finance, enablement
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- End-to-end delivery of projects including scope, schedule, cost, risk management, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Delivery through entire project lifecycle using Insight methodologies.
- Measure performance and maintain documentation.
- Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders.
- Execute contract change control.
- Deliver projects to budget and revenue targets.
- Manage resources and mentor team members.
- Suggest continuous improvements.
- Support tactical sales and presales efforts.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as requested.
- The organisation is pivoting its Sales Go to Market from our extremely successful heritage business of being a VAR to being a Solutions led organisation.
- To enact that change a project manager is required to work closely is prioritizing change projects and leading them direct or via matrix whilst working closely with other program/project managers.
- Projects in questions could span all functions above e.g.
- Running team reorganisations across many different countries
- Owning a project to put in play cadence around understanding Cost of Sales and yearly budgeting cycle for all costs (c250 people and third party spend e.g. enabling tools)
- Working with offshore team mates on data projects to provide better meaningful data to make better business decisions (headcount investment, tool investment etc)
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential:
- Degree level education or equivalent experience.
- Prince Qualified
- Previous experiences of Services and also working within a VAR (ideal not mandatory)
- Work from an Insight office a minimum of two days per week
- High level of written and spoken English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Project tools.
- Project management experience and knowledge.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle complexity and non-routine issues.
Desirable:
- Business/IT qualifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP).
- Project Management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI).
- Experience in globally diverse environments.
- Previous experience with IT Resellers
- Self starter
- Comfortable working in an matrix environment
- Basic understanding and ideally use of key tools such as Salesforce (preferred), SAP
- Excellent communication skills in translating project plans into presentations that will be presented to numerous Executives across the organisation
- Understanding of sales processes and ability to advance opportunities.
