Band6/7/8a:Locum Clinical Ward Pharmacist
Job Title: Locum Clinical Ward Pharmacist Banding : 6/7/8a Location : London Start: ASAP Duration : 3months Rate : £25-£43 Working hours : Monday & Friday, 8.30 – 6pm
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Locum Clinical Ward Pharmacist to join our team in London. This role is perfect for a dedicated professional who is passionate about providing exceptional pharmaceutical care in a clinical ward setting. You will be working in a dynamic environment, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.
What will your responsibilities be :
As a Locum Clinical Ward Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to in-patients. This includes conducting medication reviews, ensuring accurate dispensing of medications, and providing expert advice on drug therapy. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and contribute to the continuous improvement of our pharmacy services. Your role will also involve managing and utilizing the ePMA system Oracle (Cerner Millennium) to ensure efficient medication management.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- 1 year post-registration in-patient clinical ward experience
- Registered Pharmacist with GPhC
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in pharmacotherapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Desirable: Experience with the ePMA system Oracle (Cerner Millennium)
