Maternity Nurse

Maternity Nurse required to support first-time parents with 24-hour and overnight newborn care, breastfeeding guidance and establishing a gentle routine following the birth of their first baby.

Job Summary

A lovely first-time family are seeking an experienced Maternity Nurse to support them following the arrival of their baby. Mum is planning to breastfeed, so they would value a knowledgeable, supportive professional who can provide practical guidance whilst helping them gain confidence during those important first weeks. The family are keen to establish a gentle routine from the beginning and would love someone who can teach and guide them through newborn care, leaving them with the confidence and knowledge to continue once the booking has finished. They are looking for a maternity nurse who is kind, approachable and able to offer evidence-based advice whilst respecting the parents choices, adapting their support to suit the family's individual preferences.

Job Specification
• Providing 24-hour and overnight care for a newborn
• Supporting breastfeeding and establishing feeding routines
• Assisting with settling and promoting healthy sleep habits
• Providing practical newborn education and parental guidance
• Helping establish a gentle, sustainable routine
• Supporting parents with confidence and reassurance
• Undertaking all nursery duties

Accommodation: Bed in the nursery.
