Radial Driver
Job Title Class 2 Driver | Location Dagenham (RM9 6RH)
Shift Pattern: A verage 48 hours per week , 4 on 3 off 3 on 3 off (including bank holidays if falls on your shift) Start times range between 12.00 am - 03.00am (12.75 hours per shift)
As our next Class 2 Driver, you’ll be instrumental in safely delivering our products on time in full. Your remit will be to load your own vehicle and deliver on average 20 deliveries per day across the South East. Working with a team of dedicated individuals, you’ll be responsible for providing first class customer service and using handheld technology to confirm deliveries. Your day-to-day activities will also include complying with all health and safety procedures in line with drivers' hours, as well as collecting and unloading all equipment to return to site.
You are a friendly, hardworking and enjoy building relationships with your customers. reliable, punctual, and honest. This role requires an individual who is dedicated to building rapport with our customers and being the ambassador of our brand. You will be part of an award-winning innovative logistics operation within an iconic British brand.
You’re not the type to enjoy later starts or a traditional "9 til 5" role. As well as the driving side of the role, there will also be the chance to interact with our customers. With having half the year off, this role offers a fantastic work life balance.
Without you, the public would not see Hovis products on the supermarket shelves, but you will play a crucial role in getting them there by ensuring safe and timely deliveries. This role is also all about providing customers with a first-class service and representing our brand with excellence.
The Key Requirements...
Full Driving Licence with Class C entitlement - with a maximum of 6 points
Digital Tachograph
Full CPC
Be able to demonstrate good knowledge of drivers working hours
Be able to demonstrate good knowledge of the highway code
Be able to comply with health and safety policies
Be able to demonstrate good customer service skills
