£15.07 to £16.68 per hour. Full time and part time flexible shifts available.

About the role\n
\n

Newcross Healthcare is recruiting experienced Care Assistants in Livingston to provide high quality care in care homes and local community settings.

\n

You will support people with daily living, promote independence and help them live safely and comfortably.

Your responsibilities\n
\n

• Provide personal care and practical daily support.
  
\n
• Assist with moving and handling where required.
  
\n
• Promote dignity, comfort and wellbeing at all times.
  
\n
• Work as part of a wider care team to deliver person centred support.
  
\n

\n What you need: \n
\n

\n
• Eligibility to work in the UK
  
\n
• A minimum of 6 months paid UK care experience within the last 3 years
  
\n
• Experience must include personal care and moving and handling
  
\n
• Registration: Applicants in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland will require the relevant registration (e.g., SSSC, SCW, NISSC). Not applicable in England.
  
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
\n
• Qualities: Empathy, Integrity, Respect, Teamwork and the ability to deliver exceptional care
