Working Hours: 0900-1700
Pay Rate: £26.00 – £27.00 P/H
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Band 6 Locum General Radiographer to join our team in East London. This ongoing month-by-month rolling contract offers a competitive pay rate of £26-£27 per hour, with working hours from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm, Monday to Friday. The role is available for an immediate start, providing an excellent opportunity for a radiographer to work in a supportive and dynamic healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Band 6 Locum General Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of general radiographic procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will operate advanced radiographic equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. Your duties will include adhering to established protocols and safety standards, maintaining detailed and accurate records, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the efficient operation of the radiology department. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of imaging services and support junior staff members as needed.
Requirements:
- Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration with the HCPC.
- Relevant experience as a General Radiographer, preferably at Band 6 level.
- Proficiency in using modern radiographic equipment and techniques.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to delivering high standards of patient care and ongoing professional development.
