Marketing and Events Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join the marketing team of our global consulting firm. This role will play a key part in planning, executing, and supporting marketing activity plus a variety of business-to-business (B2B) corporate events such as sponsored conferences, plus in-house events such as receptions, dinners and roundtables. The ideal candidate will have some experience in marketing communications, and event coordination, preferably in a B2B setting, with demonstrable project management skills, the ability to coordinate marketing activity and events remotely across different countries, and with a commitment to exceptional service.

An interest in business, geopolitics and real-world events would be advantageous.

Requirements

What You'll Do:

Marketing & Promotion

  • Assist with marketing campaign activities e.g. preparing presentation decks, updating email marketing lists
  • Distribute events marketing collateral e.g. signage, brochures, presentations, and branded merchandise

Event Planning & Coordination

  • Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of corporate event types, ensuring brand consistency and a seamless event experience.
  • Manage pre-event preparation e.g. event badges and delegate lists, catering orders, shipping and logistics, vendor management, venue sourcing and all administrative tasks relating to event coordination
  • Manage event registrations, and internal communications related to events.
  • Maintain inventory of event collateral and promotional assets.
  • Assist in tracking event budgets and processing invoices
  • Collaborate across the marketing team and serve as a key point of contact for other internal stakeholders to ensure successful event execution.
  • Meet and greet at in-person events where based, when required.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Assist in tracking marketing campaigns metrics and reporting
  • Assist in tracking event performance metrics and reporting on event success.

Who You Are:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Skills

  • Strong project management/time management and organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advance MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Proficiency with CRM, event, AI and email marketing platforms (e.g. MS Dynamics 365 plus MS Click and MS Copilot, EventBrite, GoToWebinar).
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Basic corporate social media marketing skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working across time zones and cultures.
  • Proficiency in Arabic, French, German, European language would be advantageous.

Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing (including event support), or event coordination.
  • Demonstrable experience in using CRM, event, AI, digital marketing and email marketing platforms (e.g. MS Dynamics 365 plus MS Click and MS Copilot, EventBrite, GoToWebinar).
  • Experience working across events remotely and in multiple countries would be advantageous.
