We are seeking a dynamic Internal Communications Business Partner to join Gallagher Specialty (London market broking) . In this pivotal role, you will drive and manage our internal communications, culture, and engagement initiatives.

You will work closely with the rest of the Gallagher communications team on strategic projects, ensuring alignment and consistency across all communication channels. Your creativity and expertise will be key in crafting engaging and impactful communications that resonate with our employees and promote a cohesive and inclusive organisational culture.

How you'll make an impact

  • The role will involve shaping a communications and engagement strategy and plan to:
    • Help colleagues to understand and make a personal connection with our vision and strategy
    • Enable all colleagues to feel excited and optimistic about the future and strive for professional excellence and sustained growth
    • Support the business to retain and win clients and ultimately provide the best customer experience
  • Work with senior executives and other key stakeholders to deliver a compelling communications strategy for our Gallagher Specialty (London market broking) business
  • Develop engaging content and produce a regular flow of internal communications and campaigns that tell our story
  • Develop credibility with, and support local leaders and managers, to effectively engage with their teams
  • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as the colleague intranet, regular email newsletters and announcements and internal events
  • Contribute to pan-UK internal communications plans, using various media: written, video, intranet, PowerPoint, new/social, event management
  • Write informative and engaging print and on-line communications (announcements, emails, presentations, etc.) ensuring quality, tone, consistency, and alignment with business style, goals, objectives
  • Coordinate various reports, (including Google Analytics) presentations and internal events
  • Plan and support the management of internal events to promote our unique team culture and shared values
About You

  • Relevant work experience in internal communications or employee engagement.
  • Proven experience in building strong working relationships
    Ability to work well with multiple stakeholders, and across multiple projects, in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear and persuasive writing skills and ability to influence
  • Organised
  • Creative and innovative – ability to challenge the status quo and improve the way we communicate
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills; attention to detail is key
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and senior stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational skills – ability to plan, work and manage conflicting priorities
  • Ability to translate complex topics into audience-appropriate messaging
  • Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative to meet deadlines
  • Excellent team player
  • Knowledge of current developments and trends in communication, including internal communications, colleague engagement and employer brand
  • Desired: Photoshop/editing experience and understanding/experience of Google analytics/other tools to measure engagement and campaign success.
