Salary: £45,000 - £52,000 (dependent on experience)

Are you an experienced Accounts Senior looking for a fresh challenge in a supportive and growing practice? We’re working exclusively with a brilliant independent firm in Croydon that’s on the lookout for a confident and capable individual to join their expanding team.

About the Role:

• Preparing statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients, including limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
  

• Taking the lead on client relationships and offering that all-important personal touch
  

• Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and helping to mentor and guide them
  

• Preparing management accounts, VAT returns and assisting with ad hoc projects when needed
  

• Getting involved in improving processes and supporting the firm as it continues to grow
  

Requirements

What we're Looking for:

• You’ll be ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist level with strong experience), qualified by experience considered
  

• Have solid experience in an accountancy practice environment, supporting clients with turnovers over £1 million
  

• Be confident in client communication and able to work independently when needed
  

• You’ll bring a positive attitude and be a real team player
  

• Ideally, you’ll be comfortable using cloud-based software like Xero or QuickBooks
