Odyssey London is seeking an experienced Early Years Teacher to join our pioneering global preschool in Marylebone. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and nurture in a high-quality state-of-the-art setting that blends the best of early childhood education with global innovation.
Role Responsibilities:Responsibilities
- Create a stimulating learning environment; prepare materials and arrange base rooms in a way that is safe and conducive to learning
- Deliver engaging and educational activities that align with the early years curriculum.
- Take on the role of Key Person, for a group of children (1:2 ratio in our Bambino class), overseeing their holistic development, personal care needs and fostering strong partnerships with their families.
- Conduct observations to track the development of each child; observe and assess children's performance, behaviour, social development, and physical health.
- Promote inclusivity and diversity in the base room, ensuring all children feel represented and valued.
- Collect and maintain accurate records of children’s needs, progress, routines, and interests, and keep parents informed about their child’s development.
- Lead initiatives aimed at improving overall centre performance, such as quality improvement or innovation projects.
Who We're Looking For:
- A genuine passion for working with babies , with the ability to create a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment for their early development.
- Hold Level 3, QTS, EYTS or EYPS qualification.
- Extensive experience in an early years setting (ideally as a Nursery Teacher or Early Years Teacher).
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and support your team.
- Organised and detail-oriented, ensuring smooth daily operations and high-quality care.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse staff, families, and community partners from various backgrounds.
