Maternity Nurse

A Night Maternity Nurse role supporting first-time parents with overnight newborn care, breastfeeding and baby-led guidance in Hampstead, London.

This role would suit an experienced Night Maternity Nurse who enjoys supporting first-time parents with a calm, gentle and baby-led approach. The successful candidate will provide reassurance, expert newborn care and evidence-based guidance during the early weeks. A first-time family are seeking an experienced Night Maternity Nurse following the arrival of their baby in November. They are looking for a warm, reassuring professional who can support them through the early weeks, providing expert overnight care and helping them build confidence as new parents.

Mum is hoping to breastfeed and would value experienced feeding support throughout her journey. The family are keen to follow a baby-led approach in the early weeks, introducing gentle routines when both Mum and baby are ready. They are looking for a knowledgeable Maternity Nurse who can respect their parenting style whilst offering practical, evidence-based guidance and reassurance throughout the booking.

Job Specification
• Providing overnight care for a newborn baby
• Supporting breastfeeding and newborn feeding
• Following a baby-led approach during the early weeks
• Encouraging healthy sleep foundations as appropriate
• Monitoring the baby's wellbeing throughout the night
• Providing practical guidance and reassurance to first-time parents
• Undertaking all nursery duties during working hours
