Live-in Nanny in NW11, Job ID J1F112
A warm and welcoming family based in Hampstead Heath is seeking a caring and dependable Live-in Nanny to support their child. The ideal candidate will be safe, alert, sensible, and reliable, offering consistent care to support two busy working parents. Someone educated to at least A-level/Baccalaureate standard and comfortable assisting with homework is preferred. The family would be delighted to find a nanny who speaks Czech or French, though this is not essential. The family is affectionate and values strong, positive bonds. A driver is not required. A valid first-aid qualification is a must.
Working hours: Morning, 6:30–7:45 am, then Afternoon/evening 3:20–7:00 pm
Accommodation: A large, bright private bedroom (formerly the master bedroom) on the second floor with an en-suite bathroom. The family bedrooms are located on the first floor.
A driver is not required for this role.
Duties include:
- Bathing the child and ensuring excellent hygiene
- Ensuring her safety, well-being, and developmental progress
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks, including healthy weekday meals and sharing early dinner with her
- Engaging her in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as park visits
- Encouraging reading and supporting early literacy
- Assisting with homework and contributing to her educational development
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines
- Keeping her bedroom and play areas tidy, organised, and clean
