ROLE OVERVIEW

The Programmatic Senior Account Manager is a leadership role within the Programmatic team, ideal for an experienced and strategic professional with a deep passion for digital marketing. You will be responsible for the overall success of a portfolio of major client accounts, leading on strategy, execution, and client relationship management, with the support of a dedicated team.
A crucial aspect of this role is to drive operational excellence, shaping scalable processes and defining programmatic best practice, including how we work with the Croudie Network. You will also be a leader and mentor, with direct line management responsibility for Programmatic Executives and Managers. This position requires a strategic mindset, advanced technical knowledge, exceptional client management skills, and a proven ability to lead a team to success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Campaign Management
Overseeing the day-to-day implementation of programmatic campaigns, ensuring your team delivers excellence in execution and reporting.
Acting as an agency leader in the use of tools such as DV360, Amazon DSP, Stackadapt, The Trade Desk, and CM360.
Working closely with a range of trusted partners to support and enhance programmatic campaigns, playing a key role in developing these relationships.
Strategic planning of programmatic campaigns to ensure they align with and deliver against client objectives.
Data & Reporting
Ensuring the effective measurement of campaigns, providing insightful reporting that demonstrates value and drives strategic decisions.
Guaranteeing that all client reports and deliverables are completed accurately and delivered on time by your team.
Championing the sharing of learnings with the wider Programmatic, Paid Social, PPC, and Analytics teams to improve cross-channel performance.
Analysing complex data sets to identify strategic opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to clients.
Croudie Network & Internal Processes
Playing an active role in defining programmatic best practice and creating scalable processes to improve team efficiency.
Innovating new technologies and ways of working, monitoring market trends to support internal growth and contribute to the tech roadmap.
Staying up to date with new market tools and programmatic opportunities, sharing knowledge and driving adoption within the wider team.
Advocating for knowledge sharing and drive the delivery of cross-channel processes and tools.
Client Service & Team Support
Direct line management of Programmatic Executives and Managers, leading their development through regular 1:1s and performance reviews.
Providing direction and guidance to your team to ensure the highest standards of communication and client service are maintained.
Mentoring new team members to help them become operational in their roles quickly and efficiently.
Contributing to the new business process and oversee the delivery of sales support from the team when required.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Extensive experience in Programmatic advertising, with advanced, hands-on mastery of platforms including DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, and CM360.
Proven track record in leadership, with experience in direct line management and the professional development of junior and mid-level team members.
Strategic mindset with the ability to design and execute complex programmatic roadmaps that deliver against high-level client objectives.
Exceptional client service and relationship management skills, with the ability to lead senior stakeholder conversations and maintain high standards of communication.
Analytical mind with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable strategic recommendations.
Experience in defining best practices, building processes, and driving team efficiency.
Strong collaborative skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with external partners and across internal channels such as PPC, Social, and Analytics.
Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on overseeing multiple major client accounts simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring total accuracy in campaign execution, data measurement, and client reporting.
Clear passion for digital innovation, with a proactive approach to monitoring market trends and adopting new programmatic technologies.

Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there’s flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
