Hosting the Contest brings significant benefits to the host city, with Vienna welcoming over 500,000 visitors in 2026 and reporting strong demand for accommodation and tickets. The Contest continues to grow beyond Europe, with the first ESC Asia launching in 2026 and further international live activity planned.

  • Provide guidance to the ESC Live Events team and support day-to-day contest operations.

  • Oversee knowledge transfer initiatives, ensuring continuity and best practice across editions.

  • Guide new international editions of the Contest, such as ESC Asia, and work with the Director ESC and Commercial Director to identify, develop and lead new global opportunities for live ESC content.
