OverviewAre you passionate about building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service? As a Carrier Relationship Manager at Gallagher Bassett, you’ll play a key role in managing carrier partnerships and ensuring top-notch service delivery. This is a remote-based role , giving you the flexibility to manage your own diary and work independently. You’ll also have the opportunity to travel to London for client meetings and visit other Gallagher Bassett offices.
This is a client-facing role where you’ll be the face of Gallagher Bassett to your clients, working with autonomy to elevate your personal brand while contributing to our growing business. With our ongoing acquisitions and expansion, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of opportunities.
This role is a blend of client servicing and commercial accountability. You’ll identify opportunities for growth, cross-selling, and retention, contributing directly to our success. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll ensure our solutions deliver real value and foster long-term partnerships.
How you'll make an impact- Build and maintain strong relationships with key carriers, leading meetings, interactions, and audit processes.
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities for claims management and related services, with a focus on the London Market.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to achieve new business growth targets across Gallagher Bassett.
- Act on cross-sell opportunities to expand client relationships and drive revenue growth.
- Ensure seamless communication and delivery between operational teams and clients.
- Lead pricing and performance discussions, escalating to the Client Services Director when necessary.
- Represent Gallagher Bassett externally, maintaining a strong market presence through networking and social media engagement.
- Maintain accurate client documentation and ensure data integrity within Salesforce.
- Stay informed on market trends, legal developments, and competitor insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and contribute to innovation and process improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance and audit readiness across all client documentation and processes.
- You have experience in a similar role, ideally within insurance or claims management, with a client-facing or claims operations background.
- You have a strong work ethic, with a dedication to high-quality work and exceptional attention to detail.
- You’re highly organised, with the ability to manage workloads and prioritise tasks effectively.
- You can work independently and also a key team player.
- You have a strong analytical mindset and advanced Excel skills.
- Ideally, you hold insurance qualifications to DIP CII level or are willing to progress further.
- You have a detailed understanding of Client Relationship Management.
