Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons to primary and secondary students
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes sportsmanship and teamwork
• Develop and implement differentiated PE programs that cater to the individual needs and abilities of students
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth and improvement
• Collaborate with colleagues to organize and facilitate school-wide sports events and competitions
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on students' progress and promote parental involvement
• Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in physical education and implement innovative teaching methods

Requirements

• A degree in Physical Education or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching PE in a primary or secondary school setting
• Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum for physical education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo the screening process
