Tax Analyst

As Tax Analyst at our Global Office, you are part of a team that brings the legend of Belmond to life. Whether it’s through providing tax support to Belmond and LVMH businesses in the UK, supporting corporate tax compliance or preparing financial statements and tax returns.

Primary Responsibilities Include

• Tax Compliance and Reporting: Prepare annual tax reporting packs, tax provisions and notes for financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP, reconcile tax accounts, submit tax returns and notify/monitor tax reporting obligations for UK businesses.
• Tax Obligations : assist the management of UK tax obligations including VAT, PAYE and other relevant taxes ensuring compliance with UK tax laws and regulations.
• Administration :Update tax control documentation, group fee documentation, maintain group structure charts and support the Tax team with adhoc projects and requests.
• Tax Awareness : Keep abreast of updates to UK Tax laws and regulations to educate others on tax matters and share best practise.

• The role is generally able to benefit from our current hybrid working policy where team members can work remotely for up to two days per week.

• Our offices are located at Wogan House, 99 Great Portland Street, London W1W 7NY. Wogan House is newly renovated office space under the management of a leading co-working space and property management company.

Requirements

What You Bring

• A Bachelors degree or other equivalent qualification or experience.
• Minimum of one years’ work experience in a Finance function with a demonstrable subject matter interest in tax.
• An interest in the hospitality, leisure and/or luxury goods industry demonstrated through experience or otherwise.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills with a minimum ability to use pivot tables and reference formula.
• Ability to prioritise multiple concurrent tasks and projects whilst meeting tight and demanding deadlines.
