About Aghadoe Group and Site Diary
Aghadoe Group creates practical digital solutions that make complex work in the field simpler, faster and more connected. Founded in 2011, the Group brings together several digital brands, including Site Diary, BatiScript, Kaligo, Kardi and KidoO.
For the construction and civil engineering sector, our mission is to help teams capture, manage and share critical project information wherever and whenever work happens. Through collaborative web and mobile software, we help professionals on site and in the office improve mobility, productivity, traceability, reporting and real-time collaboration.
Site Diary is an easy-to-use, secure platform that connects field and office teams through one centralised solution. It helps construction companies record site activity, manage defects, track tasks, produce reports, eliminate paperwork, reduce disputes and improve visibility across the project lifecycle.
Today, more than 1,000 companies use Site Diary worldwide. With a growing international client base across the UK, France, the USA and beyond, Aghadoe Group is now looking for an ambitious SaaS Sales Executive to accelerate growth in the UK and beyond construction technology market.
Role Purpose
The SaaS Sales Executive will be responsible for developing our pipeline and closing sales in the UK (and beyond) construction, civil engineering and infrastructure sectors
This is a hands-on, full-cycle sales role combining prospecting, product demonstrations, trial conversion, closing and account expansion.
The role is ideal for an ambitious and commercially minded SaaS sales professional who enjoys winning new clients, developing markets and working closely with customers to solve practical business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
1. New Business Development: Developing the Pipeline
Identify, engage and win new customers across the UK construction, civil engineering, infrastructure and wider AEC market.
· Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities across SME, mid-market contractor accounts.
· Target key customer segments including main contractors, subcontractors, project owners, civil engineering firms, housebuilders, infrastructure companies and specialist trades.
· Develop outbound prospecting campaigns using cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, events, referrals and industry databases.
· Deliver weekly webinars.
· Qualify inbound leads, trial users, demo requests and website enquiries to identify high-value opportunities.
2. Full-Cycle SaaS Sales: Closing Sales
Own the full sales process from first contact through to close.
· Run structured discovery calls to understand customer pain points, project workflows, decision-making processes, budget, timing and commercial priorities.
· Deliver tailored online and face-to-face product demonstrations.
· Translate customer challenges into clear business value, ROI and operational benefits.
· Manage free trials or pilot programmes to maximise conversion into paying customers.
· Close new SaaS subscription deals in line with revenue targets.
· Report weekly on pipeline, activity, conversion, forecast, wins, losses and risks.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a proactive SaaS sales professional with strong commercial instincts and the ability to build trust with construction industry customers.
The ideal candidate will be confident opening new doors, running structured sales conversations, demonstrating software, closing deals and developing long-term customer relationships.
Experience
· 2 years’ experience in B2B sales, business development or account executive roles.
· Experience selling SaaS, software or technology solutions.
· Track record of generating pipeline, winning new business and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
· Experience of delivering product demonstrations and commercial presentations.
· Ability to engage both operational users and senior decision-makers.
· Strong written and spoken English.
· Comfortable working remotely and attending site meetings, client visits and industry events when required.
· Experience selling into the UK construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, property, facilities management or wider AEC market (desirable but not essential).
Skills and Attributes
· Strong hunter mentality with the ability to create opportunities from scratch.
· Consultative and value-led sales approach.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Commercially aware and target driven.
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
· Resilient, self-motivated and comfortable with ambitious growth targets.
· Able to work independently while collaborating with international teams.
