We're looking for a talented individual to join our Westfield Rise team as a Sales Executive. Westfield Rise (WR) is URW’s in-house retail media agency that serves as a one-stop shop to create innovative and dynamic campaigns using URW’s platform of best-in-class retail media assets and advertising capabilities. WR is made up of Brand Experience (BE), Media and Data & Services. This is a sales role which delivers across the Westfield Rise UK assets and inventory to predominantly focusing on selling Experiential and Event Sponsorship packages to include Media and data products. Key objectives

The key objective of the role is to support the team in selling, coordinating, and delivering short‑term experiential and sponsorship activations across the UK portfolio, while assisting with budgeting, pitching, booking, and ensuring high‑quality client service. The role requires a proactive, service‑focused approach that builds trust with clients and partners, contributes to retaining and growing revenue, and identifies opportunities to maximise efficiency. Strong relationship‑building skills are essential, along with supporting team initiatives that enhance client service and uphold Westfield Rise’s standards.

What you will be doing…

  • Relationship Building - Support the Westfield Rise team in building and maintaining strong relationships with brands and agencies to drive engagement and future opportunities.
  • Trend & Market Awareness - Monitor global trends and stay informed on client campaigns and competitor activity to help identify opportunities for brand-led, engaging consumer experiences.
  • Opportunity Identification - Assist in sourcing profitable opportunities by leveraging Westfield Rise’s assets and existing client relationships to support revenue growth.
  • Sales Cycle Support - Contribute to the full sales process, including lead research, pitching support, responding to briefs, coordinating negotiations, and assisting with the delivery of Westfield Rise packages and post-campaign reporting.
  • Client Service - Act as a reliable point of contact for day-to-day client needs, ensuring smooth communication, troubleshooting, and timely updates.
  • Campaign Delivery - Help deliver end-to-end service for activations with a proactive, detail-oriented approach to uphold Westfield Rise’s high standards.

Sales Performance:

  • Budget Contribution - Support the Senior Brand Experience Manager by managing a defined portion of the Westfield Rise budget.
  • Client Engagement & Networking - Work with existing clients and help build a personal network to promote the Westfield Rise audience and uncover new opportunities.
  • Sales Process Contribution - Support the team in preparing pitches, proposals, and presentations, ensuring alignment with Westfield Rise’s sales strategy.
  • Revenue Generation Assistance - Help activate brands across Westfield centres by coordinating campaign delivery and supporting revenue-driving initiatives.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration - Liaise with Marketing, Centre Management, and Events teams to leverage assets and enhance consumer experiences.
  • Relationship Development - Assist in maintaining long-term relationships with clients and agencies to encourage repeat business.
  • Campaign Visibility - Support PR activities by ensuring campaign updates and collateral are shared to maximise exposure for Westfield Rise initiatives.

Management Reporting:

  • Ensure all income and pipeline are correctly reported through the CP Tool.

Account Management:

  • Contract & Compliance Management - Work with the Legal team to ensure all activities are supported by appropriate agreements and meet compliance standards, including GDPR and AML procedures.
  • Financial Accuracy - Adhere to account procedures for invoicing, payment collection, and sales reporting, maintaining Westfield’s zero-debt policy.
  • Sales Collateral & Documentation - Keep all sales materials, presentations, and client-specific information updated in line with global guidelines and industry standards.
  • Approval & Safety Compliance - Understand and follow approval processes, including technical compliance, fire safety, and health and safety requirements.

What skills, experience, and knowledge will you need to be successful?

  • Experience and a proven track record within a sales & new business team, brand experience agency, integrated media, sponsorship or partnership agency or media owner – min. 1 year of experience
  • Excellent sales skills, with experiential and media market knowledge
  • Ability to support the creation of compelling pitch documents, think creatively and present with passion and conviction
  • Ability to support the identification of target clients, and outbound relevant content to convert to sales
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Proven presentation and negotiation/networking skills
