Role Overview

We are seeking Independent Form F Assessors to support our fostering teams across the UK. If you are an empathetic and qualified social worker with a knack for producing high-quality analytical assessment reports, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of prospective foster families to ensure the best outcomes for foster children.
• Produce and present high-quality, evidence-based analytical fostering assessments.
• Maintain a sound knowledge of child care legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and Fostering Services Regulations.

Requirements

• Qualified social worker with significant post-qualification experience in foster parent assessment work.
• Registered with the applicable social work council (e.g., SWE, SSSC).
• Professional indemnity insurance (or willingness to obtain it).
• Willingness to attend mandatory induction and training days.
• Access to personal transport and willingness to travel.
• Ability to pass statutory and company checks as part of the assessment process.
• Ideally, experience in completing and presenting at least one Form F Assessment to Panel.
