A lovely family based in Clapton, London, is seeking a Part-time Live-out Afterschool Nanny to care for their two daughters, aged 9 and 10 years old.

Junior candidates are welcome to apply. The family is looking for someone warm, reliable, and enthusiastic who enjoys working with school-aged children. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of childcare experience and be confident supporting the children's daily routines, homework, and after-school activities. A driver would be a bonus but is not essential.

The nanny will be responsible for collecting the children from school, accompanying them to extracurricular activities and appointments, and ensuring they are safe, happy, and engaged. Preparing dinner for the children would be a welcomed bonus. The family also has two cats and two guinea pigs, and occasional feeding may be required.

A valid first aid certification is required for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday or Friday, 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm, for approximately 12 hours per week. Occasional morning school drop-offs and babysitting would be beneficial.

Duties include:

• collecting the children from school
• accompanying the children to extracurricular activities and appointments
• ensuring the children's safety, well-being, and development
• providing homework assistance and supporting their educational growth
• engaging the children in interactive play and age-appropriate activities
• arranging outdoor outings, such as visits to the park
• tidying up after the children and helping to keep the home organised
• preparing dinner for the children, if required
• occasionally feeding the family's two cats and two guinea pigs
• creating a safe, happy, and nurturing environment

The family is looking for someone who can start on 7th September 2026.
