Derivatives & Structured Finance Associate - Legal 500 Firm - London

A highly regarded Legal 500 firm in London is seeking a Derivatives and Structured Finance Associate to join its market-leading finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious associate to work on complex, high-value domestic and cross-border transactions within a collaborative and forward-thinking firm offering genuine progression and flexibility.

The Role
From a recruitment perspective, this position offers exposure to sophisticated and technically challenging work, including:

• Advising financial institutions, funds, corporates, and sponsors on derivatives transactions
• Drafting and negotiating ISDA Master Agreements, credit support documentation, and related confirmations
• Advising on structured finance transactions, securitisations, and repackaging structures
• Supporting on regulatory and risk management aspects of derivatives and structured products
• Working closely with banking, capital markets, and restructuring teams on multi-jurisdictional transactions
• Assisting with transaction management, due diligence, and coordination with international counsel
• Contributing to client development and maintaining strong commercial relationships

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in derivatives, structured finance, or banking and finance
• Strong technical drafting and analytical skills
• Commercially minded with excellent attention to detail
• Confident working in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment
