Solicitor/Associate - Major Trauma
Job Description
Your new firm
Our client is a respected and forward-thinking law firm recognised for its commitment to delivering exceptional legal support while maintaining a great culture. Known for combining high-quality work with a collaborative and supportive environment, the firm empowers its lawyers to build fulfilling long-term careers. With offices across the South East and London, the organisation continues to grow while staying true to its core values of empathy, innovation and professional development.
This is a unique opportunity for a Solicitor to join an award-winning Major Trauma Services team - the first dedicated team of its kind in the UK. The work is both legally stimulating and deeply meaningful. You will support individuals and families affected by major trauma, helping them navigate the early stages of recovery, access rehabilitation and secure appropriate compensation.
You will manage your own caseload while also working closely with senior colleagues on more complex or high-value matters. The work is varied, often fast-paced, and always centred around improving outcomes for clients experiencing some of the most challenging moments of their lives.
The team is known for its warmth, expertise and collaborative spirit. You will receive ongoing support, hands-on mentoring and opportunities to grow your specialist knowledge in an environment that values empathy just as much as legal skill.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a UK-qualified Solicitor with experience in personal injury or serious injury matters, likely in the region of 2-4 years' PQE, though applications from those above or below this range are equally welcome. You should have experience managing your own caseload and be comfortable working in a dynamic and sometimes time-sensitive environment.
Success in this team comes from combining technical competence with genuine empathy. You will need to communicate with clients and families clearly and sensitively, remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly when priorities shift. A naturally proactive and compassionate approach is essential, as is a genuine desire to support individuals recovering from catastrophic injury.
You will join a firm that places real emphasis on wellbeing, flexibility and long-term development. The culture is inclusive, thoughtful and grounded in the belief that people perform at their best when they feel supported and trusted. You will have access to high-quality work, opportunities to collaborate with respected specialists and a clear Pathway for career progression.
The firm offers a competitive salary and full benefits package, along with hybrid working options and a flexible approach to individual needs. Travel to the London office, when required, will be fully reimbursed. This role offers not only strong professional prospects but also the opportunity to make a meaningful difference through your work every single day. What you need to do now
If you are interested in this opportunity or would like to discuss it further, please get in touch for a confidential conversation.
Applications from candidates with more or less PQE than stated are welcome.
