The role also provides leadership and guidance to a team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture.

YOUR ROLE

We are currently looking for a Director of Sales to join our leadership team at Rosewood London. In this influential role, you will support the Director of Sales & Marketing in leading the day-to-day operations of the sales team, delivering commercial objectives and driving revenue growth across the hotel. You will contribute to the development of strategic sales initiatives, oversee key accounts and market segments, and lead the execution of commercial strategies that maximise revenue and profitability. Working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders, you will help shape the future success of the hotel while championing exceptional service and relationship-driven hospitality.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

  • Drive rooms revenue performance and achieve the commercial targets established by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • Contribute to the development of a commercial strategy across all segments and channels to maximise revenue and profit performance.
  • Lead the execution of the commercial strategy through effective leadership and management of the proactive sales team.
  • Manage key accounts and markets while identifying new business opportunities and prospecting for future revenue growth.
  • Ensure sales strategies are effectively implemented during negotiations and maximise upselling opportunities across the team.
  • Develop, coach and inspire the sales team through ongoing performance management, training and development opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry intelligence to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing Rosewood London with professionalism at industry events, client meetings and site visits.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

  • You have established leadership experience within a sales environment and enjoy motivating teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • You are a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify business opportunities.
  • You are skilled at leading, developing and empowering people, creating an environment where individuals and teams can thrive.
  • You are confident managing budgets, financial targets and commercial performance measures.
  • You are an excellent communicator with strong presentation and relationship management skills, able to build credibility with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • You have a strong understanding of the luxury hospitality market and guest-centric sales strategies.
  • You are proficient in Salesforce and Opera and use technology effectively to support business objectives.
  • You bring knowledge gained through higher education or equivalent professional experience in hospitality, business or marketing.

OUR BENEFITS

  • 31 days paid holidays per annum including Bank Holidays
  • Discounts on Food & Beverage
  • Company pension scheme and life assurance
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Enhanced sick pay policy
  • 12 complimentary room nights per year and F&B discount worldwide
  • Up to 16 weeks paid parental leave
  • Talent development opportunities

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

At Rosewood Hotel Group, your voice is heard – and valued. We’re a community that encourages associates to be themselves, not fit into a fixed culture, and this philosophy shines through in our commitments to reflect and honor the history, culture and geography of our destinations. We’re not only committed to building and nurturing genuine, long-lasting relationships but to transforming them – and our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy helps put these principles into practice.
