Purpose of the role:
The Social Media Assistant will be an integral part of the growing Social Media Team at Wowcher. As part of the Social team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of organic content across Social Media channels, as well as organisation and up-keep of influencer campaigns. You will support in maintaining Wowcher’s brand image across the digital atmosphere, maximizing Social strategies to elevate the brand and develop new opportunities.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Developing and executing content creation ideas
- Writing copy for Social Media content across mainly TikTok and Instagram, but also Facebook and Twitter
- Scheduling and publishing Social Media content using Sprinklr
- Liaising with current influencers & scouting out potential influencers
- Supporting the organisation & management of influencer campaigns
- Conducting regular research on the latest Social Media trends
- Check and reply to comments on Social content across the various platforms
- Show initiative, and bring new ideas on how we can take our socials to the next level
- Assisting the Social Media Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks
Technical Skills required:
- Content Creation (for TikTok/Instagram)
- Strong writing and sub-editing skills
- Adobe Photoshop (basic level minimum)
- Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of Social Media scheduling & reporting platforms
Soft Skills required:
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and with the team
- Showcase lots of initiative
- A positive, team player and can-do attitude
- Meticulous attention to the detail
