Travel Expert (Sales Executive)

Flash Pack
London

About Flash Pack:
When was the last time you made a new friend? Friendship profoundly improves our emotional wellbeing, sense of belonging, purpose and happiness. Everyone wants more human connection but making new friends is really hard. That’s why we exist, with a mission to create one million meaningful friendships across the globe, using the power of travel and technology as a platform for connection.

We are Flash Pack – curated social adventures for solo travellers.

We’re a marketplace, so we actually serve two types of customers: solo travellers and the local partners who bring our adventures to life.

Our business is growing year-on-year and backed by strong investor support. Our culture is down-to-earth, hard-working, and compassionate. We’re lucky to have an exceptional team in terms of talent, and our “no a-holes” policy ensures we’re humble and supportive of each other. Integrity is at the heart of our work—we’re driven to do what’s right and to build a company that makes us genuinely proud.

What you’ll find here:

  • A culture built around high performance, high conviction and humility. We value teamwork over grandiosity, great questions over corporate euphemisms and autonomy over conformity

  • An ambitious high growth mid stage start-up with proven product market fit in over 15 global markets. We’re well-capitalised and backed by founders, investors and entrepreneurs who have built multi-billion dollar companies

  • A highly collaborative team of ambitious and innovative people on a mission to create one million meaningful friendships across the globe, using the power of travel and technology as a platform for connection

The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced and target-driven Travel Expert (Sales Executive) to join our Sales team in the UK. As a Travel Expert, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving Flash Pack’s growth - engaging new customers across phone, chat and email guiding them through the buying process, handling objections with confidence and consistently exceeding conversation targets. You’ll manage your pipeline independently while also raising the bar for sales effectiveness across the team.

This is a high-impact sales role where you’ll connect deeply with prospective travellers, guide them through emotionally significant decisions and deliver outstanding results. At the same time, our sales function is evolving - we’re building stronger structures, playbooks, and best practices. You’ll have the chance not just to succeed individually, but to help shape how we sell - contributing to scripts, refining processes, and sharing insights that influence the way our entire team operates.

This is a remote-flexible role - in practice this means that we meet in person as a team every 6-8 weeks, and the rest of the time you can work remotely in the country the role is hired in (UK). You'll typically work either 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm or 11am-7pm, though start and end times may shift. This role does include working some weekends, public holiday shifts, and some evenings.

In line with our salary framework, the salary for this role is £32,800 -£34,700, depending on experience, plus performance-related commission with an expected bonus of £15,000 - £19,000.

Where you will spend your time:
  • Owning your pipeline : managing inbound phone, email, and live chat leads with speed, precision, and care to consistently exceed quota and conversion benchmarks.

  • Building trust with customers : using discovery, storytelling, and empathy to guide travellers toward booking their next big adventure.

  • Adapting and innovating : tailoring approaches to different lead types, testing creative tactics, and flagging risks or shifts to managers early.

  • Driving team effectiveness : sharing best practices, contributing to sales scripts, crafting team wide AI efficiency levers, objection-handling playbooks, and supporting peers’ growth.

  • Collaborating cross-functionally : partnering with CX, Ops, and Marketing to close loops, improve lead quality, and shape the end-to-end customer journey.

  • Representing Flash Pack externally : joining webinars, lives, or events to build brand trust and bring in new customers.

What we’d love to see from you:

  • A strong track record in sales - consistently meeting or exceeding quota in a performance-driven environment.

  • Deep sales craft : expert in positioning and objection handling, with a consultative, nurturing, relationship-led approach in a B2C environment or with a lifestyle brand.

  • Prior experience in high-volume consumer sales , managing a fast-moving pipeline and consistently delivering results.

  • Proven ability to handle a large volume of digital interactions daily across live chat, phone, and email, while balancing speed with personalization.

  • Comfort working independently : managing pipeline, flagging risks, and making proactive decisions.

  • Experience contributing to wider sales process improvements (scripts, playbooks, tooling, etc.).

  • Collaborative mindset : a trusted partner across teams, able to influence without authority and build alignment with CX, Ops, and Marketing.

  • Growth mindset : openness to coaching, willingness to mentor peers, and a drive to continuously raise the bar. Hungry to see your own performance grow, as well as the team’s.

  • Passion for travel and human connection - you’ll need to resonate with Flash Pack’s mission and customer base.

  • Adaptability : thrives in a high-growth, startup-style environment with change and ambiguity.

We’re after the right person and if you don’t quite hit all the criteria, we’d still encourage you to apply. We’d love to chat and see if you could be a great fit for Flash Pack.

Logistics 🛠️:

Our interviews take place on Google Meet and the process will consist of the following stages:

  • An interview with our Head of Customer Experience , to hear more about your background and experience and to give you a deep dive into the role (45 mins)

  • A case study and presentation with the hiring manager and a key stakeholder - a chance to put your sales skills into action and show us how you work in practice (60 mins)

  • Meet with one of our founders for any final questions you or we have (30 - 45 mins)

Diversity and Inclusion

We’re led by a BAME, female CEO and building a diverse and inclusive team is incredibly important to us which is why we are building diversity and inclusion into the company hiring, performance and progression framework.

We see our diversity as a key competitive advantage which is why we are committed to hiring top talent regardless of race, religion, colour, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age or status as an individual with a disability.

If you have an additional accessibility or other requirement we haven’t considered, we will do our best to adapt and make sure your needs are met.

If you would like to talk to us about these efforts, or have suggestions for how we can do better, we would love to hear from you.

Once you apply, you will be sent a short Equality, Diversity & Inclusion survey , it would help us immensely if you can complete it.
