Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging art lessons that cater to the needs of students at various academic levels
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression
- Develop and implement art curricula based on national curriculum standards
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their artistic development
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art with other subjects and create cross-curricular projects
- Organize and oversee art displays and exhibitions to showcase students' work
- Stay updated on current trends and techniques in the field of art education
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching art in a primary/secondary school setting
- Strong knowledge of art history, techniques, and various mediums
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to explore their artistic talents
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Creativity and passion for art education
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues
