A well-established 2 form entry primary school in Hounslow is seeking a confident and adaptable PPA Cover Teacher for a full-time, long-term position.

About the role

In this role, you will provide PPA cover across the school, teaching planned lessons to classes from EYFS through to Key Stage 2. You will ensure continuity of learning while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and engagement. The position suits a teacher who is flexible, organised, and able to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Main Duties

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons across the primary age range

  • Providing high-quality teaching during teachers’ PPA time

  • Maintaining positive behaviour and a consistent learning environment

  • Adhering to school policies and safeguarding procedures

  • Providing brief feedback to class teachers where required

  • Supporting the wider life of the school as appropriate

Requirements

To be considered for the role of PPA Teacher you will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different year groups and classes
  • Experience teaching across the primary age range

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • QTS
