Geography Teacher – Lead Urban Development Studies and Utilize Inner-City Case Studies for Fieldwork – Hackney
A progressive and community-focused secondary school in Hackney is seeking an experienced and dynamic Geography Teacher with expertise in Urban and Human Geography from January 2026.
- Geography Teacher required from January 2026.

You will teach Geography across KS3-KS5. The role includes planning fieldwork-intensive lessons that develop mapping and data collection skills, with a focus on challenging, relevant curriculum content, particularly in the Human Geography modules.
Experience and Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) and a relevant degree in Geography.
- Experience in planning and leading successful GCSE fieldwork in urban environments.
- Strong ability to teach both Physical and Human Geography at A-Level.
- Commitment to contributing to the school's environmental awareness programme.
