Senior Building Physics Engineer - London - To £63K + Package We're looking for a Building Physics Engineer to join a progressive, sustainability-focused building services consultancy in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 5+ years of experience who wants to get involved in design-stage projects, take on real ownership, and work alongside architects, engineers, and clients to deliver high-performing, low-energy buildings across the UK. You'll have a clear path to Director and be fully backed and supported by the current Partners and Associates. What you'll be doing: Running dynamic simulation models in IES VE to support building design from early concept through to detailed design Leading and contributing to Part L compliance, TM54, TM52, and TM59 assessments Supporting BREEAM projects (particularly Ene01, Ene04, Hea04) and helping drive sustainability outcomes Collaborating with internal design teams and external clients to influence project direction and improve building performance Contributing to operational energy analysis in line with the London Plan and GLA guidance Getting exposure to Climate-Based Daylight Modelling, Overheating assessments, and net zero strategies About you: 5+ experience in a Building Physics or Sustainability Engineering role Expert IESVe skills (dynamic simulation, Part L, EPCs) Comfortable using CIBSE guidance, TM54, TM52, TM59, TM65 etc Confident communicator, able to engage with clients, present findings, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Keen interest in delivering low-energy, sustainable buildings Able to work from their London office 3 days a week Committed to CPD, willing to attend CIBSE courses, and sustainability workshops
