Project Manager - Architectural Metalwork
Location: London The Company An established architectural metalwork business is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team. The company delivers bespoke architectural metalwork projects across London, working with a range of clients, contractors and construction professionals. The Role The Project Manager will take responsibility for managing multiple projects from initial design through to fabrication, installation and completion. You will act as the key point of contact between the client, subcontractors and the company's internal design and fabrication teams. Key Responsibilities * Manage multiple architectural metalwork projects simultaneously. * Take projects from initial instruction through to final completion. * Coordinate directly with clients, main contractors and other stakeholders. * Manage relationships with subcontractors and specialist installers. * Coordinate internal design, engineering and fabrication teams. * Review project requirements, drawings and specifications. * Ensure designs are developed in line with project requirements. * Coordinate design approvals and manage changes throughout the project. * Liaise with fabrication teams to ensure production is aligned with programme requirements. * Coordinate deliveries and site installation activities. * Monitor project programmes, deadlines and key milestones. * Identify and resolve issues that could affect programme, cost or quality. * Attend site and project meetings across London when required. * Maintain clear project documentation and records. * Monitor project costs and commercial performance. * Work closely with the wider team to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required standard. Requirements * Proven experience as a Project Manager within architectural metalwork or a closely related specialist construction environment. * Strong understanding of architectural metalwork projects from design through to fabrication and installation. * Experience managing multiple projects at the same time. * Confident coordinating clients, subcontractors and internal design and fabrication teams. * Strong organisational and communication skills. * Ability to manage programmes, priorities and competing deadlines. * Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications and project requirements. * Experience working on projects within London is desirable.
