Water Quality Analyst
- Following regulated guidelines to collect and transport drinking-water samples, from a variety of sources, across the airport.
- Using defined processes and systems to conduct laboratory tests of water samples, to determine chemical or microbiological parameters.
- Visiting sites across the campus that need to be monitored for pollution or contamination.
- Liaising with external regulatory agencies and authorities as well as working closely with the water services team and our internal environmental team.
- Supporting the safety and compliance manager in investigations into causes of breaches in water quality.
- Maintaining accurate and compliant records within our Maximo system.
- Full UK driving licence and the ability to obtain and maintain airside licenses and permits.
- Demonstrable experience within a UKAS accredited laboratory environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate findings to co-workers and management.
- A proven analytical approach to problems and understanding data.
- Working knowledge of laboratory processes and equipment.
- Knowledge of Maximo or similar asset management system.
