The Opportunity

A thriving boutique accountancy firm in North London is recruiting a General Practice Manager or Senior Manager to join their expanding team. Work directly with Partners and the Associate Director on a high-quality portfolio of OMBs and SMEs with turnovers up to £100M.

What You'll Be Doing

Client Management

• Lead and manage a portfolio of high-end OMB and SME clients
• Deliver audit, accounts, and tax services across diverse sectors
• Act as trusted adviser and main point of contact

Technical Work

• Review corporation tax returns, quarterly reporting, and VAT
• Oversee audit engagements and statutory accounts preparation
• Ensure technical quality and compliance across all deliverables

Team Leadership

• Coach and mentor a growing team
• Review junior staff work and support professional development
• Play a key role in building team capability

Business Development

• Work with senior leadership to identify opportunities
• Cross-sell services within existing client base
• Support the firm's strategic growth plans

What You'll Need

• ACA/ACCA qualified
• Solid practice experience at Manager or Senior Manager level
• Strong audit background with rounded accounts and tax knowledge
• Confident leader and reviewer who enjoys developing others
• Thrives in a collaborative, people-focused environment
• Knowledge of CaseWare, CCH, Xero, and Sage is a plus
