A welcoming family in Clapham are seeking a reliable and experienced part time nanny housekeeper cook to support their household during the afternoons and early evenings. The role will focus on caring for their 4-year-old child after school, while also helping with household tasks and preparing fresh, home-cooked meals for the family.

This is an ideal role for a warm and organised candidate who enjoys a varied position combining childcare, cooking and housekeeping. The successful candidate will be proactive, trustworthy and confident managing routines independently. Previous experience working in a private household and excellent references are essential.

Duties include:

collecting and caring for the child after school
providing a safe, nurturing and engaging environment
organising fun and educational activities suitable for the child’s age
supporting the child’s development and encouraging independence
helping with reading, creative play and homework when required
preparing nutritious snacks and evening meals
cooking simple, healthy family meals
assisting with evening routines including bath and bedtime preparation
keeping children’s areas clean, tidy and organised
undertaking light housekeeping duties throughout the home
cleaning and maintaining kitchen, bathrooms and living areas
laundry, ironing and organising children’s clothes
changing bed linen and making beds when required
shopping for groceries and household essentials
keeping the kitchen clean and well organised after cooking
ensuring the household runs smoothly during the family’s busy afternoons and evenings

Requirements:

Paediatric First Aid
