Paid Media Marketing Specialist

CPS Group UK are delighted to be working with a global financial services organisation to appoint an experienced Paid Media Marketing Contractor to support lead generation, pipeline growth, and revenue across multiple UK&I brands.

This is a hands-on performance marketing role combining traditional Paid Media expertise with emerging Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) capabilities. You'll work across paid and organic channels to improve visibility, drive high-quality leads, and maximise campaign performance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimise paid media campaigns across Google, Bing, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and other channels.
Work closely with marketing, sales, data and agency partners to improve campaign performance and lead quality.
Analyse campaign and website data to identify optimisation opportunities.
Produce performance reporting and stakeholder presentations.
Support SEO and AEO initiatives to improve visibility across AI-powered search platforms, including ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot.
Troubleshoot campaign, tracking and data issues, implementing solutions quickly.
Collaborate across multiple teams to optimise the customer journey and drive revenue growth.

Required Experience

5+ years' experience managing performance-focused Paid Media campaigns.
Strong experience across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and other major channels.
Proven ability to generate high-quality SMB leads.
Strong SEO knowledge and understanding of AI search/AEO principles.
Experience using Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console.
Agency management experience.
Excellent stakeholder management, analytical and project delivery skills.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Previous experience within fintech, financial services or a similar B2B environment is highly desirable.

Desirable Skills

Experience with Skai (Kenshoo), Mediahawk, Salesforce or Marketo.
Affiliate marketing or influencer campaign experience.
Previous agency-side experience.
