The Team
Working with the site team and head office Place team, the Community & Events co-ordinator will help deliver occupier engagement initiatives on site. This is an exciting and varied role in a world-class and iconic business location and will require a highly organised and creative individual to be a part of the building management team.
The Community and Events co-ordinator will support the site team and central Placemaking team
To help deliver an exciting and dynamic occupier engagement strategy year-round.
Key Responsibilities
General
• Help deliver a year-round calendar of events with administrative support
• Help populate the building app
• Ensure seamless delivery of events on site. Communicate the planned events to all customers (staff, local community, visitors) to ensure engagement
• Promote the app and the programme of events to occupiers
• Liaising with occupiers to promote the events, discuss community initiatives
• Liaising with suppliers and handling deliveries
• Where possible, track and monitor feedback from events.
• Oversee budgets, and resource needed to deliver the programme of activity
• Input to monthly reports submitted by the central Placemaking team
Communication
• Deliver a communications strategy to engage customers within the building, to include, but not limited to:
o Online / Digital / Social Media / LinkedIn
o App management
o Relevant and managed user generated content (e.g. social media feeds
o Posters / Flyers
o Consideration of new, innovative engagement activities
Other
• Support building management team with general activities when required
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Essential Skills
• Some events, marketing, communications, front of house or concierge experience
• Customer-centricity and an understanding of customer engagement metrics
• Ability to develop relationships at all business levels
• Strong writing skills, impeccable grammar and a flair for creative writing
• Ability to develop and implement annual plans that deliver strong customer engagement
• Experience in managing agencies and media partners
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Capable of effective prioritisation, ability to work to deadlines and willingness to multitask when necessary
• Good networking skills and the ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders
• Knowledge of and willingness to embrace digital, social and innovative technologies
• Track record in delivery of event strategies and plans, commercial targets and budget management
• Successful management of agency staff, consultants and suppliers
Desirable
• A drive and enthusiasm for continuous improvement and experience of change management
• Confident to present ideas and brief senior executives in a formal setting
• Production of creative materials and use of Canva
Working hours - 37.5 hours / Salary - £45,000 - £50,000
